The Gem Centre 
The Gem Centre - Wednesfield, Wolverhampton UK
The Gem Centre opened in April 2006 and brings together services for children and young people provided by Royal Wolverhampton Hospital’s Trust, Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and Wolverhampton City Council.
Designed to enliven the interior spaces, the Tactile Tree and Octopus at the Gem Centre are not just decorative pieces. They provide children with the opportunity to physically engage and interact, enhancing the visual appeal of the spaces and creating a child-friendly environment.

​Drummond School

Drummond School - Drummond Road, Inverness Scotland
Created in 2008 - There are three Tactile Murals in different areas of the school. The shapes and the foliage of the tree reflects the school’s logo. The Very Tactile caterpillar includes 250 points of changing coloured lights, which can be controlled by touching the flowers on the plant. The Landscape Mural illustrates a wide range of healthy food and where they grow. This is positioned in the dining area.

Abbeycourt School

Abbeycourt School - Strood, Kent

Mural created in 2011 - This trail of waving line background and rectangular textures are reflected on both sides of the corridor, leading from one area of the school, to another. The Colour Change lights in the ceiling are triggered by

sensors in the Mural and change colour as people move along thew corridor. The interactive Flower Panel is activated by the large yellow touch switch.

Fitzwarryn School

Fitzwarryn School - Wantage, Oxfordshire

Created in 2009 - The School wanted to bring some life and interest into the long blank corridors and give opportunity for the pupils to stop and explore.
The tactile trails were created with clusters of textures, each with different a colour emphasis.
The background also continues across doors and along the floor in some areas.

King’s Mill Hospital

King’s Mill Hospital - Mansfield Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield Nottinghamshire

The three Murals ware created for a Children’s Ward and Outpatients Department in 2010.
The caterpillar includes changing coloured points of lights intermingled with the textures. they are activated by touching the yellow discs on the antenna. Creating the Jungle Scene on a curved wall was a particularly challenging exercise.

Kingfisher Special School

Kingfisher Special School - Foxdenton Lane, Chadderton Oldham

Over 60 metres of meandering Tactile Trail guide you around the school. Each area of the school has a different colour emphasis. Some parts of the Mural has hand rails for students to hang onto whilst experiencing the textures and to give support whilst moving along sloping corridors.
